Less than three weeks after the 40th anniversary of the John F. Kennedy assassination, another man has died in Dealey Plaza.

The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was found early this morning lying in the center lane of Elm St. Witnesses at first thought the man had been struck by a car, but he was soon discovered to be holding a gun.

It appears the man shot himself while standing on the white X that marks the location on Elm where President Kennedy had been killed in 1963.

The apparent suicide has occurred on the heels of Texas Twisted's debut of The JFK Assassination Tour. Texas Twisted would like to assure fans that if you want to promote the site, this is not the way to do it. There are few enough readers as it is.

Update: The man was later identified by Dallas police as 50-year-old Richard Clem.

Clem had worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 27 years. One coworker said he had always been greatly interested in the Kennedy assassination.
